Which set of rules applies to you

That depends on your relationship with the firm.

• If you are reading this website, this policy covers you.
• If you are a client with accounts held through LPL Financial, the information attached to those accounts is governed by LPL Financial’s privacy notice rather than by this page. LPL provides that notice when you open an account and once a year after that. It is available at lpl.com/disclosures/privacy-security.html.

If you are only reading

Nothing you type. The site records the ordinary things any website records: which pages were viewed, how long they were open, the city-level location the visit came from, the browser and device, and the site or search that sent you. Three tools handle this, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Ahrefs Web Analytics. It is used to see which articles get read and which do not.

If you fill something in

Checklists and guides. First name and email address. That is the entire form. Submissions are processed by Netlify Forms.

Booking a call. Scheduling runs through OnceHub, which collects your name, email address, mobile number, state, and your answers to four short questions asked before the call. Those answers move into the client relationship system, Wealthbox, so the conversation can start somewhere useful instead of at the beginning.

The calculators

What does get recorded is that a calculator was used: that one was opened, that a field was filled in and which field it was, that results were viewed, and whether the Book a Call button was clicked. The name of the field, never the value inside it.

Cookies and third-party content

Some parts of these pages are served by other companies, and those companies may set cookies or see your IP address when the content loads. The embedded Google map in the footer, the Google Reviews display on the home and advisor pages, the video player on the advisor page, and the analytics tools listed above all fall into this category. Your browser settings control cookies, and blocking them will not stop the site from functioning.

What is not done with your information

Your personal information is not sold. It is not rented, traded, or handed to anyone else for their advertising. There are no advertising pixels on this site.

Email

Downloading a checklist puts you on a list that receives that checklist and occasional messages afterward. Every message carries an unsubscribe link, and using it removes you.

How long information is kept

Analytics data is held according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics. Form submissions and client relationship records are kept for as long as they serve a purpose, except where securities industry recordkeeping rules require a longer retention period, in which case those rules govern.

Your choices

• Ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion, by emailing jesse@truestewards.com.
• Opt out of analytics through your browser’s privacy settings or Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
• Unsubscribe from email using the link in any message.

One limit is worth stating directly: records that securities regulations require to be retained cannot be deleted on request, and that applies regardless of who holds them.
